Below is a thank you letter written by Tour Coordinator Chris McCullough to the great people of Lindsay, Ontario. We hope that everyone who came out to the rodeo has a great time, and will come back next year!
A special thank you to the people and corporate sponsors in Lindsay and the Kawartha region.
On Saturday May 29th and Sunday May 30th 2010 we produced our 3rd annual Western Rodeo in support of Camp Maple Leaf (www.greatrodeo.com & www.cammapleleaf.net) at the Lindsay Exhibition Grounds.
This show is part of a province wide tour which the Cowboys and Cowgirls are competing for points and prize money to help qualify them for a spot in the world finals which takes place in Oklahoma City in October.
We were made to feel so very welcome by the community and the experience for all involved was fantastic to say the least.
The Lindsay Exhibition Grounds is without a doubt one of the finest facilities of its kind in Ontario and the staff lead by manager Andy Letham were beyond helpful when it came to executing the logistics of this challenging event which raised over $5000 for the camp. Without the support of Andy and his staff this would not have happened.
We look forward to returning next year and making the 4th annual bigger, better and stronger.
